The Atlanta Green Theatre Alliance (AGTA) was founded in 2020 by a group of theatre professionals who recognized that wastefulness is an urgent environmental issue in our industry. Our aim is to rally the Metro Atlanta theatre community to collectively transform production practices to benefit the health of the environment and the sustainability of our theaters. AGTA is a chapter of the Broadway Green Alliance, who suggests that “progress comes from millions of us doing a bit better each day.”
